Robert Brooks
Robert is the Founder and CEO of ForceN where he’s spent the past decade developing force/torque sensing uniquely designed for complex & unstructured applications across surgical, logistics, space, humanoid, nuclear, & food/agricultural robotics. Forcen was motivated by his PhD work on next generation sensing & actuation for surgical robots at the University of Toronto and through his previous work experience in early unstructured robotics across the nuclear, heavy manufacturing manufacturing, field, and medical robotics industries. He works to help grow & accelerate the complex & unstructured robotics ecosystem by sharing what he’s learned through his career working for and developing sensing systems to enable world leading robotics OEMs.
