James Emerick

James Emerick is the co-founder and CEO of Cosmic Robotics, a San Francisco–based startup pioneering autonomous robotics for critical infrastructure construction. The company’s first product, the Cosmic-1A, is a force-multiplier for solar construction — doing the heavy lifting of panel installation to make projects faster, safer, and accelerate the deployment of energy infrastructure. James is a robotics engineer and entrepreneur with deep experience deploying advanced robotic systems into field construction. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and lives in San Francisco.
